Since its founding, Zafena has been active in “Point-of-care” analysis.<\/span> The POC laboratory performs analyzes close to the patient, without transporting the sample to a central lab.<\/span> Performing analysis close to the patient not only saves money and time, but also the environment as transport of samples is not needed to the same extent.<\/span> Zafena POC-Workstation is the workstation that connects all instruments and meters, under a method for digitization and delivery of test results to LIS \/ EHR.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

By using a general connection point, only a single connection to the receiving system is needed, which saves connection costs and administration. Using the same method for digitizing analysis results, regardless of location, instrument, meter or sensor, results in shorter training times and a lower support load. A general connection point opens up for connecting, simpler, cheaper, but perfect meters with high precision, which in itself does not reach today’s requirements for built-in IT support. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
